The location of Scenery Villas is in a very privileged position, and this can be instantly noticed upon arrival. The ten-acre grounds that surround the villas, is in itself a perfectly relaxing environment with the nature of the surrounding area that allows for lovely walks. The villas are just 1,5km from the historic village of Galatas where the Museum of the Battle of Crete is, a few taverns, a small grocery store, an excellent butcher, a traditional bakery and the local pharmacy, whereby visitors can buy their essentials within a few minutes.

The connection to the new road is less than 1km, allowing for quick and easy access to nearby and distant destinations to the city of Chania. The city center, the incredibly beautiful Venetian Harbour and the old town are only 7km away. The nearest beach is that of the Agioi Apostoli (2km) where there is also a nearby park, a beautiful meeting point for residents and visitors alike who are to relax or exercise. The largest supermarket chains are located in the same area.

Along the north coast, visitors can enjoy many other sandy beaches, restaurants, cafes, taverns, bars and clubs within a few minutes distance of each other. Pano Stalos is an authentic Cretan Village which boasts excellent tavernas, all serve delicious local cuisine. This peaceful village has views of the White Mountains and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. At the bottom of the hill, some 5 minutes away by car, close to the sea shore is Kato Stalos. In contrast to the more peaceful Pano Stalos, Kato Stalos has plenty of bars, tavernas, and restaurants. There are excellent facilities here, banks, hotels supermarkets and businesses offering excursions to the Samaria gorge, the Palace of Knossos and other local tourist spots.
